Mr. Ostin has over 26 years of experience in the entertainment industry. He is one of the most respected executives in the music industry with extensive relationships throughout the entertainment business. In 1977, Mr. Ostin joined Warner Bros. Records ("Warner Bros.") and served that company for approximately 20 years in various capacities in the Artist & Repertoire Department. From 1988 to 1996, he served Warner Bros. as Senior Vice President, where he was responsible for the day-to-day U.S. operations of the creative department. During his career at Warner Bros., Mr. Ostin was involved in the signing of numerous artists and managing their creative process. These artists included Madonna, Prince, Eric Clapton, Paul Simon, Van Halen, B-52s, Talking Heads, REM and Seal. Sales from these artists of Warner Bros. have achieved more than 400 million units with dollar volume in excess of $4 billion. From 1996 to 2003, Mr. Ostin served as President of DreamWorks Records where he helped build a premier music label from inception through completion of its sale to Universal Music Group in a transaction valued at approximately $100 million. At DreamWorks Records, Mr. Ostin was responsible for the management of the company's operations. In that capacity, he also collaborated on various projects with Messrs. Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen and other members of DreamWorks SKG, which included acting as the Executive Producer of the soundtracks for "Shrek", "Shrek 2" and "Shark Tale," which have collectively sold more than 4 million copies.
